Can Legal Expenses help answer our questions?

Coronavirus is causing more questions for businesses and individuals than we can collectively have answers to, but help could however be just a phone call away with some policyholders having access to infrequently used legal advice helplines. Legal helplines can often respond to help with employment matters (furloughing staff), health and safety queries (working from home or COVID-19 regulations), compliance or regulatory concerns, property or taxation matters.

Frequently, although not always, we can find this cover buried within the Commercial policy wording, Directors and Officers policy documents or sometimes more helpfully on the policy schedule, where reference to there being Legal Expenses cover or a free advice helpline can be seen as provided or not.
